Rockhe Kim: Line Drawing Book Set + ANATOMY DRAWING CLASS

The books might be a little expensive, but in hindsight i really love how they’re structured, the content and the explanations. They’re amazing !

As a beginner in drawing, I found Rock Kim's series of drawing books incredibly helpful. They guided me through the fundamentals in a way that made the process approachable and enjoyable. Here’s a review of three of his books that helped me kickstart my drawing journey:

"The Beginner's Guide to Drawing Basics" This book is perfect for someone just starting. It covers essential techniques like line work, shading, and basic shapes in a simple and straightforward way. What really helped me was the step-by-step breakdown of each concept. It made learning less overwhelming and gave me the confidence to start sketching right away. The practice exercises at the end of each chapter were especially useful, allowing me to see progress quickly.

"Drawing Anatomy for Beginners" Anatomy can be intimidating, but Rock Kim’s approach made it manageable. The book focuses on drawing the human form with clear, easy-to-follow illustrations. The breakdown of body proportions, muscles, and movement was detailed but not overly technical, which was a relief as a beginner. I appreciated how Kim emphasized observation, encouraging me to see the body in basic shapes and forms first before adding detail. This approach helped me understand human anatomy better and made my sketches look more realistic.

"Mastering Perspective Drawing" Perspective used to be one of the most challenging aspects of drawing for me, but this book demystified it. It starts with the basics of one-point and two-point perspective, gradually moving to more complex scenes. This was my first order here and I'm very happy with the items.
Not only are they better than all other drawing anatomy books I've ever seen or been offered to buy, they're packed full with tips, hints and one of the smaller volumes is just amazing references for hands and folds. I absolutely recommend buying the full kit! There are qr codes to lessons in the books too for real time drawing!
