I’m adding a separate review for the Taco Point Character Drawing Book Set (Volume One & Volume Two) because there weren’t many reviews available, and I genuinely feel it deserves one.
As I mentioned in my RockHe Kim review, K-Zone Studio really offers great pricing and excellent delivery service.
Now, about the books themselves.
If you’re someone who’s interested in anime-style, expressive character art, I would absolutely recommend these books. They give a clear and enjoyable insight into how anime-style characters work, especially expressions, proportions, and stylization. While they don’t go as deeply into anatomy as RockHe Kim’s books, that’s not a downside. Instead, they shine in their own way, focusing more on style, expression, and fun learning.
Personally, as a beginner, I actually liked learning from the Taco books first. RockHe Kim’s anatomy is very strong and detailed, which can feel a bit intense for someone completely new. Since I’m learning mainly for fun, not to burn myself out by being overly serious from the start, Taco’s books felt more relaxed and enjoyable. They let me learn at my own pace while still improving my understanding of character drawing.
Everyone learns differently, but for me, this approach worked really well. That alone makes these books worth it for beginners who want to enjoy learning rather than rush into heavy anatomy studies.
So overall, I genuinely loved this book set.
And for anyone wondering whether K-Zone Studio is trustworthy, it absolutely is. The pricing, service, packaging, discounts, and delivery experience were all excellent. If you’re interested in any of their products, you can confidently go ahead and place an order.
Highly recommended for anime art lovers and beginners who want to learn while having fun. 🎨✨
